The journey
An avid rock climber before all, I spent year traveling across the country and abroad, seeking new heights and new views. Following a bad lupus flare up in 2023 that left me with chronic inflammation, tightness and pain that led me to loose a lot of dexterity in my right hand. Giving my body some time to heal, I turned to painting and started this journey. My first piece was an anniversary gift to my partner, who is also my rock climbing partner. This infamous piece has since become my company logo and a design I like to revisit often. At first, I worked mostly with climbing related work but after a while I started branching out into a more diverse field of work and started creating more and more intricated designs. At the end of the 2024 school year, I left my job as a secondary public school teacher of over 10 years and decided to embark full time on this journey. This year in 2025 I’m mixing my love of traveling with vending events in order to reach wider audiences with my art. I hope to see you there sometime!
The art
All frames and most of the glass are purchased second-hand. My love for the ocean has fostered a big interest in sustainability and upcycling, and upcycling frames has been my way to go the extra mile in my effort to care for our planet. Fun fact, every part of the frame gets used. The backing, although not used on the actual final product helps me provide safe and protected shipping to all items once they’ve found their new homes!
A little more about me
I was born and raised in France and moved to the United States in 2010 to pursue my Master’s degree in secondary education. After years of work visas and expensive immigration processes I finally received the status of Permanent Resident in 2022. During my time in the USA I fell in love with scuba diving and it has changed a lot of the way I view the world. I’m never more at peace than when I’m 65 feet below watching a shark, an octopus or even just a silly lobster just go on about its life. It’s magical.
